Description
Gabion Mesh PVC
- The Gabion is a structure made of hexagonal double twisted wire mesh of low carbon steel as raw material. Filled with rocks is used for fencing and protection in civil engineering or road building .
Requirements of filling stones
- Stone, pebble or rock block as filling. Stone size are normally between D100-300mm in reinforced gabion wall and gabion. Porosity rate should be less than 30%. Aggregate strength classes is MU30, stone and mesh proportion is more than 2.5t/m3. Stone is stiff, weather-resistant and not easy to disintegrate and hydrolyze under water environment.
- Stones in slice and stripe are unfavorable. The same applies to decayed rock and mudstone.
- For the distance of 30cm from wall face to reinforced gabion face wall and gabion face wall, dry build is usually adopted.
